A Book for Catholics Seeking to Understand and Defend their Faith

100 Tough Questions for Catholics is designed for two key groups: committed Catholics who want to defend their faith and those who are seeking answers to tough questions about Catholicism. The book provides straightforward responses to 100 pressing questions covering topics like God, the Bible, science, morality, AI, the afterlife, and more.

鈥淪tudies show that the top reason for young people leaving the Church is that they do not find answers to their questions about God and the faith,鈥 Prof. Bonagura explains. 鈥淪ince I regularly address these concerns in my teaching鈥攅specially with high school students鈥擨 compiled the most frequently asked and thought-provoking questions into this book so that more Catholics could benefit.鈥

The book is divided into 14 chapters by theme, following an intentional arc. It begins with foundational questions about God and creation, moves through topics related to human life, morality, and the sacraments, and concludes with practical advice for those who wish to live as practicing Catholics but feel unsure where to start.

鈥淭he final chapter is especially important,鈥 Prof. Bonagura notes. 鈥淚t provides a roadmap for those who, having found answers to their doubts, want to deepen their Catholic faith and practice.鈥

A Legacy in Catholic Apologetics

This new release marks Prof. Bonagura鈥檚 third book on Catholic apologetics. His previous works include:

(2019) 鈥 A theological and practical exploration of faith in the modern world.

(2021) 鈥 A compelling case for remaining in the Church as the means of salvation.
